Getting to know each other through our Christmas traditions
AIMS The aim of the project is to set up a collaboration between students who
are going to work together in Erasmus+ project next year. We would like to give
our students the opportunity to meet in the virtual world, enhance their
language and ICT skills. We would like to create an attitude of tolerance and
openness towards other cultures. WORK PROCESS Teachers are going to set up a
schedule for the project. We are planning to involve students aged 10-13 from 4
countries: Poland, Hungary, Greece and Italy.
The project
will last a month and will finish in December 2017. Students are going
to: - record short videos about themselves. The videos will be uploaded to youtube ( a private channel with access
limited to the participants of the project) - chat online or take part in a
videoconference (depending on the school equipment) - make Christmas cards and
send them to partner schools - prepare presentations about their Christmas
traditions and send them to partner schools (Padlet, Google disc) - record a
traditional carol from their countries - prepare an online cookery book with
traditional dihes - take part in International Kahoot about our Christmas
traditions - send their wishes on Padlet EXPECTED RESULTS Results of the
project: - language improvement - mastering ICT skills - improving students'
motivation The products will include: - videos - Powerpoint presentations -
Christmas cards - an online cookery book - photo gallery
